Voted as DJ Mag's 11th best club in the world and the UK’s best large club, Motion is one of the worlds most exciting and ever evolving venues. Set in a matrix of old warehouse spaces in an industrial area of the city next to the River Avon, the venue showcases events from every corner of the electronic music spectrum and beyond with previous headliners including the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Chase & Status and Adam Beyer to name a few.

In 2016, Motion was voted the 19th best club in the world by DJ Mag readers and has continued its efforts to provide the South West with unbeatable parties featuring the best in electronic music.

Motion features several regular nights including a number of in house parties occurring multiple times every month, these welcoming both DJs and live artists. With guests of the ilk of Patrick Topping, Steve Lawler, Catz N’ Dogz, Moderat and Pete Tong, it’s apparent that house and techno is a big part of Motion’s musical curation, however with plenty of other guests from right across the board including Fatman Scoop, DJ EZ, Goldfish, Deep Medi and David Rodigan, there’s something for everyone.

Motion also regularly host live music from internationally renowned bands and solo artists, some of which have recently included Nao, Local Natives and Dinosaur Jr. In:Motion takes place at Motion during the autumn/winter period and features a specially put together weekly series of parties curated by the club itself.
