JEANIE Gets Back to the OG with Trap Single “Speed”

Sometimes, a heavy trap banger is all you need.

Inspired by her love for all things OG trap, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer JEANIE is dropping brand new single “Speed” as an ode to classic trap sounds, while keeping things fresh and true to her heavy style.

JEANIE made “Speed,” out Tuesday, February 4th, after being inspired by names like Juelz, UZ and RL Grime. The result came together quickly and has proven to be successful in live settings for months.

“Sometimes you just need to keep things simple and clean, and that’s what I did with ‘Speed.’ I’m really happy with the result and listening back to the track makes me feel like a bad bitch who can take on anything. I hope it does the same for anyone who listens. :)”

With a menacing melody and forceful 808s, “Speed” is a subtle flex that shows just how easily JEANIE continues to impress and surprise with her production. Demonstrating fearless energy and a melody that will stay in your head for hours, “Speed” is bound to be the banger your confidence-boosting playlist needed.
